We had the chance to do some coding this week.  The class had a lot of fun learning how to code and program.  They can continue the fun at home!  Just use the link below and your second grader will know what to do once they are on the site.

We have also been using some different apps to practice coding and programming in the classroom.  We will continue to explore the world of computer science this school year!

Dress-Up Days at MHES for 2015-2016

September 25^th – School Spirit Day – Wear Storm attire or green/gold to show school spirit for homecoming!

October 30^th – “Sock” Out Bullying Day – wear your silliest socks in honor of National Bullying Prevention Month

November 9^th – wear red/white/blue for our Veterans Day celebration

December 23^rd - Pajama Day – wear your coziest jammies/slippers and bring a stuffed animal and/or blanket

January 29^th – Hat day - wear your favorite hat!

February 24^th – Jersey/sports Day – wear your favorite jersey or sports attire

March 17^th - St. Patrick’s Day – Wear green!

April 29^th - Twins Day – wear your favorite MN Twins gear!

May 6^th - Grade Level Color Day for Walk for Life – All students will wear a special color assigned to their grade level:

Kindergarten = Red

1^st grade = Orange

2^nd grade = Yellow

3^rd grade = Green

4^th grade = Blue

5^th grade = Black
