Another great week in second grade!!  This week we learned about solids, liquids, and gases.  We did a few science experiments to help us understand how some matter can change when heated or cooled. Today we announced the One District One Book...The Mouse and the Motorcycle!!!  We read the first chapter together and did a drawing of a mouse.  A copy of the book was sent home with the youngest/only child in each family.  There will be comprehension/trivia questions for each chapter.  You can find them on this website http://www.isd47.org/odob along with an audio file of each chapter.
